MLB Mock Draft 2012: White Sox Select Pitcher Michael Wacha In MLB.com Mock Draft

Jonathon Mayo of MLB.com has released his latest mock draft in anticipation of the upcoming June 4 MLB draft. According to Mayo, the Chicago White Sox will look to shore up their depleted minor league system with a pitcher out of Texas A&M University:

13. Chicago White Sox: Michael Wacha, RHP, Texas A&M

Chicago might have an interest in a high school bat like Hawkins, but they do tend to go for college pitching early, with Wacha getting the nod over Stratton.

The Sox are reputed to have one of the worst minor league systems in the MLB, but the team is hoping to add some crucial depth with their No. 13 pick in the draft. Wacha pitched 15 games in the 2012 NCAA season, owning a 2.21 ERA through 106 innings.
