After snatching the first two games of their four-game set against the New York Yankees in dramatic fashion, the Chicago White Sox can earn an important series win by coming out on top on Saturday afternoon. That task falls to Jake Peavy (6-4, 2.84 ERA), who has posted an impressive 2.36 ERA and 1.14 WHIP over 34.1 innings in June and will start opposite Yankees pitcher Hiroki Kuroda (7-7, 3.40 ERA).
The Sox are on the brink of claiming MLB's best road record as well, which is a big boost for a team that owns a disappointing 19-21 home record.
