Mariners Vs. White Sox Preview: Chris Sale Aims For Series Win In Rubber Match

The Chicago White Sox (30-23) are looking to bounce back from their 12-inning loss on Saturday. SP Chris Sale takes the mound on Sunday, opposing veteran SP Kevin Millwood and the Seattle Mariners (24-31).

Sale is off to a hot start in the 2012 MLB season. In his previous outing -- facing a battered Tampa Bay Rays lineup -- Sale struck out 15 batters through 7 and 1/3 innings. His 2.34 ERA and 2.47 FIP have anchored a White Sox rotation beset with injuries and under-performances.

On the other hand, Millwood has been adapting well to his new home in Seattle. The 16-year veteran has a 3.56 ERA and 3.47 FIP through his first 10 starts this season and has been particularly dominant against righties, allowing only a 3.11 FIP against right-handed batters.

Game Time: 2:10 p.m. CDT

Location: U.S. Cellular Field, Chicago, IL

Broadcast: CSC (TV), 670 AM WSCR (radio)
