White Sox Vs. Yankees: Jose Quintana On The Mound For Friday

The Chicago White Sox pulled off an unexpected comeback in game one of their series against the New York Yankees on Thursday night, and for a follow-up they are going with their most unexpected success story from the pitching roation: Jose Quintana. The 23-year-old left has faced 97 consecutive batters without ceding a walk, and has allowed only six total runs over 43.1 innings in 2012. Over his last four starts (27.1 innings), Quintana only allowed three earned runs and walked just one batter over that span.

The Yankees will counter with Adam Warren, who will be making his MLB debut.
