White Sox Vs. Twins Preview: Gavin Floyd Look To Build On Strong Last Outing

The Chicago White Sox debut of third baseman Kevin Youkilis was spoiled on Monday when the Minnesota Twins earned a 4-1 victory over the South Siders in the series opener at Target Field. On Tuesday, the Sox send Gavin Floyd to the mound against Minnesota's 23-year old Australian Liam Hendriks.

Floyd has struggled this year, but picked up a victory in his last start vs. the Cubs by throwing 6.1 innings of scoreless ball while only allowing four hits. The 29-year old right-hander enters the start at 5-7 with a 5.20 ERA and 1.30 WHIP.

Hendriks is 0-4 this season with a 7.39 ERA and 1.82 WHIP. This will be the seventh start of the season of the right-hander.
