Brewers Vs. White Sox Preview: Can The South Siders Give Some Run Support To Dylan Axelrod?

The Chicago White Sox have dropped four of their last five games and are now 1.5 games behind the division-leading Cleveland Indians in the A.L. Central. Chicago will look to get back on track on Saturday night when righty Dylan Axelrod makes his second start of the season against Milwaukee Brewers veteran Randy Wolf.

The experience disparity will certainly be on display in the pitching duel. The 26-year old Axelrod has made four career starts, while Wolf has made 356. If the Sox's young starter is to have success, he'd surely appreciate some support from Chicago's currently flailing offense. The Sox didn't advance a runner past first base on Friday night during a 1-0 Brewers victory in 10 innings.

Axelrod enters 0-1 with a 3.52 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in 7.2 innings this season. Wolf is 2-5 with a 5.11 ERA and 1.57 WHIP.

Game Date & Time: Saturday, June 23, 6:10 p.m. CT

TV: CSN-Chicago

Location: U.S. Cellular Field, Chicago, IL
