Injured Chicago White Sox starter John Danks had hoped to return in time to start Monday's game against the Cubs, but after experiencing more soreness than expected following a rehab start, his return has been pushed back. On Friday, the White Sox announced their starters for the Cubs series and Danks was not among them.
Peavy, Floyd Sale listed as starters for next week's Cubs' series, meaning Danks' return will be pushed back.

Danks is 3-4 with a 5.70 ERA in nine starts this season. He has not pitched for the White Sox since May 19.
The White Sox begin a three-game series with the Dodgers on Friday night.
