White Sox Vs. Indians Final Score: South Siders Fall Again In Game 2 Of Doubleheader

After a length rain delay in Game 2 of their doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians on Monday night, the Chicago White Sox tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the eighth inning on an RBI single by Alex Rios. In the bottom half of the inning, Cleveland left fielder Shelley Duncan doubled to left to score Asdrubal Cabrera and give the Indians a 3-2 win. The Tribe also defeated the Sox 8-6 earlier in the day.

In his first start for the White Sox, Eric Stults went six innings and allowed four hits and two runs while striking out four. Matt Thornton earns the loss for Chicago.

The South Siders now stand at 13-17, while Cleveland improves to 17-11.
