The Chicago White Sox take a 3-0 lead over the Minnesota Twins into the sixth inning on Wednesday night. Thus far, Chicago starter Chris Sale has limited the Twins to just two hits. Chicago scored one in the first inning and two in the fourth inning to take the early lead.
Designated hitter Adam Dunn drove an RBI single to center to score teammate Alejandro De Aza in the first inning to give Chicago the early 1-0 lead. After a Paul Konerko single in the fourth inning, right fielder Alex Rios hit his second homer of the season to put the Sox up 3-0.
Sale has struck out four Twins batters so far. He's thrown just 70 pitches.
