Jesse Crain Injury: White Sox Expected To Activate Reliever After Monday's Game, According To Report

According to CSN Chicago's Paul Latour, the White Sox are expected to activate reliever Jesse Crain following Monday night's game against Detroit. Crain has been recovering from an oblique injury.

The Sox are expected to activate him following tonight’s series opener against Detroit at U.S. Cellular Field. They’ll need to make a corresponding roster move to do that.

Fresh from a two-appearance rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Charlotte, Crain said the strained left oblique feels good.

“Those two outings down there showed me that I was over it, and couldn’t feel it at all,” Crain said.
