White Sox Vs. Rangers Final Score: Home Runs Propel Texas To 5-0 Win

Gavin Floyd gave up three home runs, Chicago's offense couldn't get started, and the White Sox dropped a 5-0 decision to the Texas Rangers on Sunday night. With the loss, the White Sox fell to 1-2 on the season, while Texas improved to 2-1.

Floyd pitched 5-2/3 innings, striking out three and walking two in the process. David Murphy got the scoring started with a solo shot off Floyd in the third inning; Adrian Beltre hit a two-run home run in the fourth; and Josh Hamilton hit a solo homer in the sixth.

That was all the offense Texas would need, as Chicago's offense couldn't make of anything happen. Gordon Beckham smacked a double and Eduardo Escobar legged out a triple, but that was it for extra base hits on the night.
