Red Sox Vs. White Sox Preview: Can Jake Peavy Be A Stopper On Saturday?

The Chicago White Sox lost their fourth-straight game on Friday night in a prototype John Danks loss, and now they turn to Jake Peavy to be the stopper on staff in a Saturday night contest against the Boston Red Sox. Peavy has been wonderful so far this season, posting a 1.88 ERA and a 26:6 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 28.2 innings pitched, so he may be the right man to get the Sox back on track. Meanwhile, Boston turns to struggling starter Jon Lester, who owns a 6.00 ERA and has given up a combined 12 runs in his last two starts (9.0 total innings).
