The Chicago White Sox entered their Tuesday night matchup against the Oakland A's riding unpredictably high: the South Siders are 10-6 overall and winners of four straight. Not bad for a team that entered the season with middling expectations, at best.
Left fielder Adam Dunn and starting pitcher Jake Peavy keyed the win last night over Oakland, which could have some White Sox fans already feeling delusions of grandeur. But lest we get too carried away here, team GM Kenny Williams put everything in perspective.

White Sox beat writer Scott Merkin, who got the quote, added 'I see a new T-Shirt available with this slogan come Thursday at U.S. Cellular".
