White Sox Vs. Athletics Preview: Gavin Floyd Aims To Extend Chicago's Four-Game Winning Streak On Tuesday

The Chicago White Sox (10-6) claimed the first game of a three-game set against the Oakland Athletics (8-10) thanks to a complete game shutout by Jake Peavy, and now it is up to Gavin Floyd to extend the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday night. As for the Athletics, they send lefty Tom Milone to the mound. Here is a quick scouting report on Milone from South Side Sox:

Milone is the lone southpaw in Oakland's rotation. He has displayed impeccable command and control in the minors, dominating at every level. He's 25 years old and never had problems with the longball in the minors, which will only be helped by playing in the Coliseum (ignoring ridiculous actual name of stadium). Milone throws a four-seamer in the upper 80s, a changeup, a cutter, and a curveball.
