Floyd gave up four runs on seven hits in 4-2/3 innings of work, but Chicago's offense was able to bail him out and the White Sox had the lead when he left the game. But the Brewers teed off on Sox relievers, scoring two in the sixth, two in the seventh and five in the eighth to break the game open.

Jason Jaramillo hit a grand slam for Milwaukee in the eighth, while Cesar Izturis drove in three runs for the Brewers. Brent Morel was the only White Sox hitter to have a multi-hit day.
