The Chicago White Sox had three innings to score a single run and tie up their game with the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night. They couldn't do it. Baltimore scored three runs in the sixth inning and nothing else, but it was good enough to propel the O's to a 3-2 win over the Sox. The win moves Baltimore to 7-4, while the White Sox fall to 5-5.
Left fielder Nolan Reimold hit a two-run homer off of White Sox starter John Danks to gets scoring started in the sixth. Shortstop J.J. Hardy was the next batter, and he also took Danks deep for a solo homer. The White Sox would answer in their half of the inning when A.J. Pierzynski doubled to deep right to score Brent Morel and Paul Konerko. Chicago wouldn't score again and the game ended 3-2.
