Phillip Humber started the game for Chicago and pitched two innings, allowing one hit and one run. The Dodgers eventually broke the game open with a five-run sixth inning, as White Sox reliever Nestor Molina struggled. The 6-1 deficit at that point proved too much to overcome, though the Sox did score three runs over the final three innings to make things more interesting.
