White Sox And Milwaukee Brewers Square Off In Spring Training Cactus League Action

Left-hander Chris Sale makes his third spring training start for the Chicago White Sox on Saturday as the Pale Hose visit the Milwaukee Brewers at Maryvale Stadium in Phoenix.

The 22-year-old Sale has struck out 12 and walked just one batter in 13 1/3 innings of work during spring training exhibition play. The Brewers will counter with veteran southpaw starter Randy Wolf, who sports a 3-0 record in Cactus League play this spring. The White Sox are expected to start Kosuke Fukudome in left field in Saturday's game with the Brewers, and shortstop Alexei Ramierz will bat cleanup.

The White Sox bring an 8-12 spring record into their game Saturday against the Brewers, who own a comparable exhibition-season record at 7-11. Both Chicago and Milwaukee went down to defeat to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday. A Dodgers' split squad hammered the White Sox 17-4, while another Dodgers' team defeated the Brewers 6-3.

The first pitch on Saturday is set for 3:05 CDT.
