White Sox Vs. Mariners: Jake Peavy Looks To Rebound In Third Start

This spring has not been kind to Chicago White Sox SP Jake Peavy, who has given up nine earned runs in only 4.1 innings pitched. Peavy's spot in the White Sox rotation is of course guaranteed provided that he is healthy, but clearly both he and the team would like to see him preform better as the spring wears on.

He will get a chance to do that today against the Seattle Mariners, a team not exactly known for their hitting prowess. Here's the the White Sox line up today, with the first pitch at 3:05 p.m. CT:

1. Brent Lillibridge, 3B

2. Kosuke Fukudome, CF

3. Alex Rios, RF

4. Paul Konerko, DH

5. Adam Dunn, 1B

6. A.J. Pierzynski, C

7. Gordon Beckham, 2B

8. Jared Mitchell, LF

9. Eduardo Escobar, SS
