Podcast: He Gone - Peacing Out Ozzie Guillen

Z.W. Martin, Ricky O'Donnell and special guest, Bobby Loesch, discuss the recent events surrounding Ozzie Guillen's departure, his White Sox legacy and his landing spot with the Miami Marlins. Also: "Little Big League" references and Ozzie's best Twitter moments.

Last night the SBN Chicago blogger staff -- Bobby Loesh, Ricky O'Donnell and I (Z.W. Martin) -- took to the mic and put together a 50 minute "real" podcast on the White Sox, Ozzie Guillen, the MLB, Jeffrey Loria, the Miami Marlins, Dayan Viciedo, Daniel Hudson, Jim Thome, Adam Dunn, Twitter, the Cubs, Joe Maddon, Chicago's farm system, Kenny Williams, "Little Big League" and the state of the Middle East. It was quite detailed and truly expressed my deep knowledge of baseball and its inner-workings (I really was awesome). Then I deleted it. All of it. That sucked.

We, however, banded together -- after a few moments of hating me, deservedly -- and put together something remotely close to it, more concentrated -- like everyones favorite daiquiri mix. It may even be kind of funny (very serious in the first take).

Something we did not mention; compensation for the White Sox from the Marlins:

The Marlins will send two minor leaguers, including right-handed reliever Jhan Marinez, to Chicago, the source told ESPNChicago.com's Levine. MLB.com reported that infielder Osvaldo Martinez is the other player.

Update: Ozzie's deal with Miami is for four years and "about" $10 million.

Anyway, enjoy:
