Pierre And Ramirez Account For Half Of Sox RBIs

In a battle of the Sox, the Chicago version came out on top on Tuesday night, as starter Philip Humber turned in another good game and the White Sox scored runs in bunches to grab the win.

Humber pitched 7.2 innings, giving up four earned runs on nine hits, while striking out five. His only real hiccups came towards the end of his night, though Boston did manage to add runs on against the Sox bullpen.

The Sox were far more successful against Boston’s spot starter, Alfredo Aceves, who threw just 5.0 innings while giving up eight runs on eight hits. Most of the Sox lineup got in on the scoring on the night, with Juan Pierre and Alexei Ramirez accounting for five of the ten Sox RBIs. Carlos Quentin, Paul Konerko, A.J. Pierzynski, Gordon Beckham, and Brent Morel accounting for the others.

The White Sox will go for the sweep in the early game on Wednesday afternoon in Boston. First pitch will be at 12:35 P.M.
