White Sox To Auction Game-Worn Caps For Charity

The White Sox announced today that all the caps worn from the starting lineup of today's spring training game vs. the Giants will be auctioned, with proceeds benefiting "From The Heart", social service agencies based in Glendale, Arizona, that promote the positive development of youth, strengthen families and assist Glendale residents of all ages in addressing urgent needs. This is the second year in a row the Sox have held this autographed-cap benefit auction.

Today's Sox starting lineup includes Juan Pierre, Gordon Beckham, Adam Dunn, Paul Konerko, Alex Rios, Carlos Quentin, A.J. Pierzynski, Alexei Ramirez, Brent Morel and pitcher Mark Buehrle -- a lineup that very well could be the Opening Day lineup for the Sox.
