You Can Get Married At SoxFest!

This, of course, presumes you have already met the man or woman of your dreams and are planning to get married anyway -- it's not intended to be matchmaking, although couples have met and fallen in love at any number of sports and sports-related events.

The White Sox are offering a $1200 hotel/wedding package during SoxFest at the Palmer House Hilton; according to the team, for your twelve hundred bucks you get two SoxFest passes as well as hotel accommodations for January 22, 2011, up to 10 SoxFest passes for Saturday, January 22, 2011, two free Lower Level game tickets for any April or May 2011 home game (excluding Opening Day), and the opportunity to have an on-field photo on the game date chosen. It's open to couples who want to renew their vows as well as people getting married.

The event is being billed as "SoxFest Group Wedding/Renewal of Vows↵at the Palmer House Hilton", and the Sox also remind anyone considering signing up for this:
