F Ryan Johnson got the Toronto FC on the board early Saturday night when his goal, just 16 minutes into the game, gave the Canadian team a 1-0 lead. It looked as though the Chicago Fire were headed to their eighth loss of the season, but M Marco Pappa fired 7 shots on the night, and of the three shot that proved on target, one of them landed after 64 minutes, tying the game 1-1.
D Austin Berry, on the other hand, took only one shot of the night. But his header 84 minutes in mattered most as it broke the tie can gave Chicago a late lead:
The win puts the Chicago Fire at 10-7-5 with 35 points, still in 5th place in the Eastern Conference. G Sean Johnson collected 2 saves and allowed 1 goal on the night.
