Chicago Fire defender Cory Gibbs doesn't want to speculate on a return date, but he says he is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a meniscus tear in his right knee suffered back in April.
"I haven't given myself a timetable. I've done that in the past, and I don't want any setbacks or disappointments.
"But I can say I'm ahead of schedule, and I just have to maintain from there and keep going with it. When I'm healthy and fit and feel strong, I'll definitely be out there as soon as possible."
