Cubs Vs. Reds Score Update: Chicago Trails 4-3 After Six Innings

The Chicago Cubs are trailing the Cincinnati Reds 4-3 through six innings Sunday afternoon. With a win, the Cubs could split the four-game series with the NL Central division leaders, but they've gotten another shaky performance from starter Chris Volstad.

Looking to end a 23-game winless streak, Volstad has allowed four runs on seven hits over six innings. Cincinnati's Mat Latos has pitched slightly better, though, besting him by allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits over six innings so far on Sunday.

David DeJesus has gone 2-for-3 with a double to lead the Cubs, while Luis Valbuena is 1-for-2 with a walk while batting third in the order. Four players have one RBI apiece for the Reds, including Latos, but they have zero extra-base hits and Jay Bruce is their only player with more than one hit.
