The Chicago Cubs look to continue their recent little run of success as they visit the New York Mets on Friday at Citi Field. With the All Star Break coming soon, the Cubs have won seven of their past ten games to slowly climb out of the NL Central basement.

Travis Wood takes the mound for the Cubs as he continues to justify the team's move to acquire him before the season from Cincinnati. Over nine starts this season, Wood has a 3.05 ERA with 39 strikeouts and 20 walks in 56 innings. He's been particularly good of late, allowing just one run in 20.2 innings over his past three outings.

Game date/time: Friday, July 6, 6:10 p.m. CT

Location: Citi Field, New York, NY

TV: CSN
