The Chicago Cubs may have a suitor for SP Matt Garza -- and it may be All-Star RF Justin Upton of the Arizona Diamondbacks:

Upton, 24, has three years remaining on his current contract with the Diamondback, is owed around $40 million from 2013 through 2015. He has performed well through his first six seasons in the MLB, hitting 99 homers with 74 steals and 16.5 wins above replacement.
Garza, 28, currently has a $9.5 million salary with the Cubs and will be a free agent following the 2014 season. He has pitched over 1000 innings in his career spread across three franchises and sports 15.9 wins above replacement on his career.
