MLB Trade Rumors: Braves "Moving On" From Ryan Dempster

The Chicago Cubs' deal with the Atlanta Braves to send out starting pitcher Ryan Dempster may officially be dead after the Cubs starter refused to agree to a trade there. According to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com, the Braves are "moving on" from Dempster and onto other trade targets including Milwaukee Brewers starter Zack Greinke.

Dempster reportedly has his sights set on the Los Angeles Dodgers, and though the Cubs and Dodgers should be able to iron out a deal, Chicago's leverage will certainly be weakened if they can't field any other competing offers to whatever the Dodgers are willing to relinquish.
