Matt Garza Trade Rumors: Blue Jays Still Showing Strongest Interest, According To Report

Matt Garza hasn't had the best season of the two Chicago Cubs starting pitchers rumored to be on the trading block. That honor would go to Ryan Dempster, who has the lowest ERA in the National League. But, Garza is younger than Dempster and is seen by some as having more raw talent, and it's entirely possible that he'll fetch more in a trade than Dempster.

One team that may offer the Cubs the most attractive package of prospects are the Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays, according to FOX's Jon Paul Morosi, covet Garza, and they also have one of the deepest farm systems in baseball. Other suitors (including the Detroit Tigers and Los Angeles Dodgers, which are both reportedly hard after Dempster) may emerge, but Morosi calls Toronto the most "plausible destination" for Garza.
