According to a report from ESPN's Jayson Stark, the Cubs have been bringing up Bryan LaHair's name in trade discussions on a regular basis.

Despite the slump noted by Stark in the above tweet, LaHair has a very good .286/.364/.519 overall batting line in 2012. LaHair collected 12 doubles, 14 home runs and 30 RBI during the first half, and those numbers helped him earn an All-Star nod.
The Cubs have been shopping several players in addition to LaHair, including pitchers Matt Garza and Ryan Dempster.
