2012 MLB Draft Results: Chicago Cubs Finish Off First Draft Under Theo Epstein

And the first draft for the Chicago Cubs under the new front office leadership team of Theo Epstein, Jason McLeod and Jed Hoyer is officially over. On Wednesday afternoon, the 2012 MLB Draft completed its final 25 rounds, finishing off the three-day event.

Overall, the Cubs ended up selecting 42 players over the three days, led by first round pick Albert Almora. Keep in mind that the team may not necessarily be able to sign all of these players, though. The deadline for signing all players drafted in this year's First-Year Player Draft is July 13.
