This season may be lost for the Chicago Cubs, but at least fans of the North Siders can take some solace in what's going on right now at U.S. Cellular Field. With a 2-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday, the Cubs sealed the South Siders' fifth straight lost series and handed the Sox their sixth loss in the last seven games.
While Tuesday's game was mostly devoid of offensive highlights, there was one phenomenal defensive play by Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro. In the fifth inning, Castro robbed White Sox leadoff leadoff hitter Alejandro De Aza of a hit with a crazy over-the-shoulder catch.
