After an outstanding performance from Ryan Dempster in a 3-0 victory in the series-opener, the Chicago Cubs will turn the ball over to Jeff Samardzija this evening against the Boston Red Sox. Dempster was truly dominant in the win, allowing just four hits in seven innings pitched. Samardzija will be hoping to bounce back from his worst start of the season, as he allowed eight earned runs in 3.2 innings against the Minnesota Twins.
