VIDEO: Anthony Rizzo Homers Twice -- Again

Was Monday the best day of the season for the Chicago Cubs? We are pretty sure it was. For starters, the Cubs had an off day, which guaranteed them the rare opportunity of not losing. The team also inked 20-year old Cuban outfielder Jorge Soler to a nine-year deal, who immediately becomes one of the organization's top prospects. The icing on the cake? How about a second straight multi-homer game from Anthony Rizzo, the North Side's first baseman of the future who's absolutely killing the ball right now in Triple-A Iowa.

We have video of Rizzo's second homer last night, after the jump...

Rizzo is currently hitting .370 with 22 homers and 57 RBI. In June, he's sporting a 1.435 OPS. It appears safe to say Rizzo has proven he can handle Triple-A pitching. It won't be long before he'll get his opportunity to help out a punchless Cubs lineup.
