Carlos Marmol's return to the Chicago Cubs could be right around the corner. According to Carrie Muskat, Marmol is scheduled to make a couple of relief appearances for triple-A Iowa this weekend and could be back with the big club on Monday.

Marmol, who has not made an appearance for Chicago since May 11, has a 6.35 ERA in 11-1/3 innings of relief work this season. He has struck out 12 and walked 16.
The Cubs will begin a three-game series at home against San Diego on Monday.
