The Chicago Cubs have placed catcher Welington Castillo on the 15-day disabled list; he's been bothered by an MCL strain in his right knee.

Castillo is hitting .185/.241/.370 in seven appearances with the Cubs this season. His replacement on the roster is Travis Wood, who is going to start Tuesday's game against the Astros. Wood has started one game this season for the Cubs and has a 4.50 ERA. He's 3-3 with a 4.57 ERA at triple-A Iowa this season.
