Geovany Soto Injury: Cubs Catcher Sidelined By Inflammation In Left Knee

Chicago Cubs catcher Geovany Soto was originally supposed to start against the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday night, but he has been scratched from the lineup because of inflammation in his left knee. Soto is considered day-to-day according to Doug Padilla of ESPN Chicago.

The Cubs are hoping to snap a two-game losing streak Thursday night, though ace Roy Halladay will be on the mound for Philadelphia.

First pitch is set for approximately 7:05 p.m. CT.
