The Cubs can pick up a series win with a victory against the Phillies on Monday night, but with Philadelphia ahead 4-0 in the sixth inning, they're going to have to start generating some offense in a hurry to turn things around.
Chicago starter Chris Volstad got off to a rough start and allowed all four of the Phillies' runs in the first inning. Hunter Pence, Carlos Ruiz and Pete Orr picked up RBI hits for Philadelphia in the inning.
Phillies starter Vance Worley, meanwhile, has allowed just three hits in six innings of work. He's struck out five batters while walking just one.
