Cubs Vs. Brewers Score Update: Chicago Takes 8-0 Lead, Knocks Out Greinke In 4th Inning

The Chicago Cubs have jumped to an impressive early lead in Thursday afternoon's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Through fourth innings, the Cubs have taken a commanding 8-0 lead and knocked SP Zach Greinke from the game.

Greinke left the game in the bottom of the 4th inning after surrendering 7 ER on 9 hits and 1 walk. The usually sharp righty exited with runners on base and after a few more Cubs hits, his line was 3.2 IP, 6 K, 1 BB, with 8 ER.

Every Cubs hitter, with the exception of 1B Bryan LaHair (0 for 2) and Matt Garza (0 for 2), enters the 5th inning with at least one hit. Backup C Steve Clevenger leads the team with a 2 for 2 showing on 2 doubles, while 36-year-old Alfonso Soriano is 1 for 2 with a stolen base -- his first steal since ending the 2011 season with only 2 steals.
