The Chicago Cubs mounted a ninth inning rally against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night, but shortstop Starlin Castro struck out on three pitches with the bases loaded to end the game and give the Brewers a 7-5 victory. On Tuesday, the Cubs' Paul Maholm will take the bump at Wrigley for the first time this season. Chicago enters 1-3, while the Brewers are 2-2.
Left-hander Chris Narveson will make the start for the Brewers. The 30-year old lefty is 25-17 in his career with a 4.62 ERA. Narveson made 28 starts with a 4.45 ERA last season.
