Cubs Vs. Angels Final Score: Chicago Takes 8-1 Victory

The Chicago Cubs improved to 15-16 this spring with an 8-1 win over the Los Angeles Angels in Cactus League play on Sunday afternoon. Chris Rusin pitched 5-1/3 scoreless innings for the Cubs, giving up just two hits in the process. Los Angeles managed just five base hits on the day, though Albert Pujols was absent from the lineup.

At the dish, Starlin Castro and David DeJesus had multi-hit games for Chicago. Jeff Baker hit a three-run home run in the eighth inning to help blow the game open.

The Cubs finish up their preseason slate with the Diamondbacks on Monday and the Brewers on Tuesday.
