Cubs Vs. Reds Final Score: Big 9th Inning Propels Chicago To 7-4 Win

The Chicago Cubs took a 3-0 lead on the Cincinnati Reds, lost that lead, then re-took control of the game in the ninth inning with some clutch power hitting. Chicago scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning to claim a 7-4 win.

Matt Garza struck out six batters in four innings of work, but he allowed seven hits and two runs in the process. The two teams were tied at three heading into the ninth inning, and that's when Chicago's power hitting proved decisive. The Cubs hit a pair of home runs on the way to four runs in the inning.
