Cubs Vs. Indians Preview: Chicago To Send Out Most Of Starting Line Up

With the regular season drawing ever nearer, it's time for every team's best players to round into top form. On Sunday, the Chicago Cubs will send out a good portion of their projected opening day line up vs. the Cleveland Indians, with Rodrigo Lopez, who is still battling for a rotation spot, taking the hill.

Lopez has been impressive this spring, giving up only three earned runs in 12 innings while striking out nine and walking only one. With Jeff Samardzjia getting knocked around a bit in his last start, Lopez may be able to make some headway if he looks good on Sunday.

Here's the full line up for today's game:

  1. Reed Johnson, RF
  2. Blake DeWitt, LF
  3. Starlin Castro, SS
  4. Alfonso Soriano, DH
  5. Bryan LaHair, 1B
  6. Geovany Soto, C
  7. Ian Stewart, 3B
  8. Jeff Baker, 2B
  9. Joe Mather, CF
