Pitchers and catchers reported to Chicago Cubs camp on Saturday, leaving now less than two weeks between Chicago's first game of the spring. The Cubs' 2012 Cactus League spring training schedule begins Sunday, March 4, against the Oakland Athletics.
In that first week, the Cubs will visit the Chicago White Sox and get an early look at the division-rival Milwaukee Brewers. They'll get another shot at the White Sox later in the month, and they also have a few games against defending American League champion Texas.
The Cubs wrap up the preseason schedule with the Brewers April 3 and open the regular season at home against the Washington Nationals April 5.
