May was an impossibly rough month for the Chicago Cubs. Their pitching staff continued to be decimated by injuries, they were forced to call up a horde of untested minor leaguers, and their deficit to the division-leading Cardinals grew to 8.5 games, where it currently sits.
But hey: today marks a new month and a perfect opportunity for the Cubbies to start with a clean slate. Unfortunately, according to Twitter, it appears the team's newest dugout sign didn't get the memo.
This is it.
