The cold, rainy conditions in Chicago have postponed the Cubs vs. Padres game for Tuesday, April 19th. The game is currently scheduled to be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader on Wednesday, April 20th.
The first game will start at 1:20 P.M., CDT, while the second game will start at 6:05 P.M., CDT. The evening game slot is the makeup game for 4/19.
In a statement about the decision to postpone the game, the club wrote:
The Padres are not scheduled to return to Wrigley Field during the
2011 season and, without a favorable mutual off day later in the
season, every effort will be made to complete a full series of games
this week.
Tickets for tonight's postponed game will be good for admission to
tomorrow’s second game, the 6:05 p.m. contest, between the Cubs and
Padres. The Tyler Colvin bobblehead promotion, scheduled for tonight,
will also take place for tomorrow evening’s game.
