Last September, the Deep Dish reported on former Cub Ted Lilly's house being for sale; the house, located three blocks from Wrigley Field at 1305 W. Waveland, was on the market for $2.4 million.

Only a few weeks later, Lilly has dropped the asking price:

Former Chicago Cubs pitcher Ted Lilly on Tuesday cut the asking price of his five-bedroom, 5,400-square-foot house just west of Wrigley Field from $2.4 million to $2.1 million. Lilly, 34, was traded by the Cubs to the Los Angeles Dodgers in late July.↵

↵On Tuesday, however, Lilly both reduced its asking price and for the first time placed it in the multiple listing service at the new, lower price.

Here's the listing for the house at realtor.com. The photo above is the exterior; there are 14 other photos of the interior at the listing. One thing is for sure -- Ted will have a longer commute to his job in Los Angeles than he did in Chicago.
