On the Score this morning, Ozzie Guillen was asked if Joey Cora left the Sox to manage the Brewers (Cora is a finalist for that position), would he consider Ryne Sandberg as his bench coach?
↵↵Guillen's answer was illuminating:
↵↵"Sandberg is a great baseball man and I don't know him personally, but you need to hire a coach to help you win games," Guillen told "The Mully & Hanley Show" on WSCR-AM 670. "I say Ryno, after so many years playing in the big leagues and managing for a few years in the minor leagues, I don't see why not, to help you as a bench coach."↵↵
So, Cubs and Sox fans, what say you? Would this be a good move for the Sox? As a Cubs fan, would you feel differently about Sandberg in a Sox uniform? Vote in our poll.
