Kirk Hinrich Signing: Bulls Point Guard Happy To Return To Chicago

The Chicago Bulls brought back their long-time starting point guard this offseason when the came to terms with free agent PG Kirk Hinrich. The 31-year-old veteran and Iowa native signed at two-year, $8 million deal with the Bulls in July, and for Hinrich, it's almost like he never left:

"My family and I are just very excited to be back in the Bulls family," Hinrich said. "I've kept my home here in the offseason. It kind of feels like I left but it really hasn't. I'm very excited. I know a lot of the guys and I'm just looking forward to the opportunity."

Hinrich started 433 games with the Bulls from 2004 to 2010. In his seven seasons with the Bulls, he scored 6902 points and collected 3004 assists. The 2012-13 NBA season will mark his first year under head coach Tom Thibodeau.
